Hello.

I've done a bit of searching online for bending projects that focus on video, as opposed to audio.

I've seen people bend VCRs on Youtube, but I know the risk of electrocuting yourself goes up pretty high when there's current coming from a wall socket.

Are there any toys / consumer electronics that have been bent to produce video signals?

Hi, looking for video bending??

you can bent a digital camera... for make some videos: LINK - VIDEO
or bent a webcam or a Videocamera LINK

Casio SK-1 could be use for create video signals
LINK - VIDEO

BUT:
you could bent a Nintendo game console, a Gemboy or something like these... and you could find schematics on casperelectronics.com
Video 1
Video 2
Video 3

AND:
This is a very interesting site that I found just now: karlklomp.nl

OR:
if you are interested you could find a way to generate video feedback using a VHS videocamera (that films the TV that is
connected to the videocamera) like in this clip i made mixing a movie with a feedback CLIP
Or something really sweet like this inspired guy (Gieskes.nl) made LINK

or you can looking for a PXL-2000 Camcorder... here a "pixelvision" clip VIDEO
(if you are interested look for Mattel Vidster or VCamNow too)

or you could create your liquid light show in vintege/psychedelic way!
