hi all,

i am currently working on a tap 2 clock module.

the idea was to tap in a tempo, the module analyzes the incoming pulses and generates multiples of the detected/calculated tempo, and outputs a clock signal accordingly. a switch to select the mult factor would be necessary, a 3pos switch would be a cheap and effordable solution IMHO. so i would have to limit myself to 3 choices.

what mult factors would be desireable or necessary in your opinion?

i thought of x16, which could be divided afterwards. but what about triplets? x12 or x24? what else? ideas?

Even though you're multiplying, and I was dividing, you might want to take a look at the capabilities of my Pendulum/Ratchet module: http://www.eardrill.com/modules/PendulumRatchet/
A link to the manual is at the bottom of that page.
