You could put a current limiter in between the synth and the wall socket.

I won't help you beyond this point. If you don't know how to build one or where to get one, I would say that it is unsafe to bend the unit.

Hi. I'm planning to buy a CRUMAR Roadracer
any one bent this kind of instrument?
is safe bent a instrument to 220v?
Sorry, but if you have to ask the question then you don't know enough to do it safely, so I would suggest that you leave it for a bit until you are more confident. Wink

I remember the Crumar Roadracer. Basically it is yet another electronic piano that doesn´t sound anything like the real thing. It is kinda cute though and wasn´t this the touch sensitive model? I think they came on the market in 81. Even though the sounds were pretty unusuable, it could shine when you added shitloads of efx-boxes, some Roland space echo and
such. Bending it? Well.. no.. i don´t see the point.. but obviously this model could be seriously modded into something else. Like throwing away everything inside and start again.. Laughing
I did open the keyboard once and considered turning it into a CV keyboard controller thngie.. for some reason i didn´t.. can´t remember why.
