Alright Vogers

Hmmm yeah. Nice tunes. There's loads of different stuff going on there. Nice one. I really like the fact that all of your tunes have loads of different ideas going on, rather than just developing in the same vein. The ideas all link together nicely as well. Loads of imagination.

I think the tracks are all a bit long, some of them overstaying their welcome by 2 or 3 minutes. I also think some of the tracks (like 1939) overuse the vocal samples a little bit - it begins to sound like a bit of an old joke.

But I did like all of them. JackHammer is fantastically good fun gabba, Binary Race is jump up and down a lot bouncy music of the highest order, and Route 22 has some fine, fine acid in it. Oh yes.

I prefer your breakbeaty electro stuff though. Electro-Plasm, as well as having a cool name, gets caught in my head a lot. Maniac is moody and slow with great sounds. Techno-Funk has got really nice drum programming and stacks of other shit going on as well. The jazzy interlude at 4 minutes makes me want to wave my fists in the air! The bit at 6.30 is also just ace.

The only track I really don't like is Funhouse. It's really is highly irritating. What on earth were you thinking Norman?! The only place I could imagine it really working is in the background of a government broadcast announcing imminent nuclear annihilation. Imagining the panic, and people screaming and praying almost enables me to enjoy it. But not quite.

Overall, fantastic stuff mate. I'll definitely keep listening.

Cheers
