under the influence of LSD |

These 9 drawings were done by an artist under the influence of LSD -- part of a test conducted by the US government during it's dalliance with psychotomimetic drugs in the late 1950's. The artist was given a dose of LSD 25 and free access to an activity box full of crayons and pencils. His subject is the medico that jabbed him. _________________ homepage - blog - forum - youtube

| Facinating, the stuff at the peak of his trip seems the most interesting, which to me is odd because from my experience its very hard to get anything done at that point. |

Where do I sign up? I'll wheel my entire studio into the research facility if they're providing the party favors. They can study me while making my entire next CD.

| being on pounds of drugs is almost as good as being sober. i've had great experiences on LSD, DMT, pot, booze, Psilocybin, xanax, peyote, ecstasy and opiates, where i've felt like the world is right, and i love everyone. It simply does not last. the dependency lasted quite some time, however. |

well, i don't have any regrets.
if i could do it perfectly, which i can't, and couldn't, i would have taken each of those drugs once, and in profusion, under more scientific circumstances, and with a focus more as an explorer, rather than a bored, lonely teenager. |
