After another hiatus of a few weeks Bill and I were back with another steaming radio show. This time we were thrown a curve by our friends at Moog who seem to have removed our favorite app, Anamoog, from the Appleverse. So what? Well unless you have the latest version of Anamoog, you can not transfer your patches to Anamoog Z, the newest version. Somehow we managed to sort things out before we started playing but a few minutes into the set Bill's stream conked out! So this performance is a bit shorter than usual. It seems the technology gods are driving us to use simpler and simpler instrumentation, and in some respects, simpler music.
Anyhow, this set is quite different, IMHO. We hope you enjoy it.

Here is yesterday's Chez Mosc program with Twyndyllyngs' performance. This recording has only one millisecond edit to get rid of some loud anomaly. Again Bill was in Pennsylvania and I was in North Carolina.
Hope you enjoy...

Perception Subject description: Bill's Thoughts
Perception is such a delicate, subjective thing which changes with circumstances. While performing these concerts, I am filled with self-doubt and self-editing. Listening to the playback, I am thoroughly entertained. I find these to be quite enjoyable as a listener. I also find that when I play with abandon, I enjoy myself much more. If only I could learn how to get into that headspace on demand... _________________ Bill Fox------------------|\-------------

Here's Twyndyllyngs December 25, 2021 set. I spent a lot of time editing this track, That is not to say that I cut much out. Actually nothing was cut. The vast majority of the time was spent learning new techniques (tricks) to adjust the levels at specific parts. I still have a lot to learn.

Here's tonight's Twyndyllyngs performance. Maybe a better word for these sets is jams. Anyway, everything seemed to work tonight perfectly except for one thing; the stream was silent.
Here is the recording. Sorry for the silent stream to those wonderful people who tuned in for the live stream.
This set is very conversational, sorta...

Here is the set of Twyndyllyngs recorded from the Chez Mosc stream program on January 29, 2022. This one has several sections but I didn't split up the track because this is a live set and the flow is important, IMHO. Bill plays relatively a lot of Sax in this one. It starts at about the 17 minute mark.
We hope you enjoy...

The set on February 5, 2022 is posted herein. No edits were made to this recording save for a few level adjustments here and there. This one is a bit unusual because it starts of in the key of F# Lydian.
At one point my system started MIDI choking. Although that is usually an unappreciated disaster I liked the result and just kept playing until an appropriate silence arose where I was able to reset things. Distortion was of course not wanted back in the day but musicians developed a liking for it (fuzz tone etc.). I'm thinking a MIDI choke program might be useful.
Hope you enjoy...

2022-07-09 Chez Mosc Recording
It's been a long while since I've been able to post a Twyndyllyngs set live stream from the Chez Mosc program. The reasons numerous and unimportant.
Here's the set from last night. Again, Bill was in Pennsylvania and I was in North Carolina. The technical aspects worked pretty well for a change thanks in part to Blue Hell helping me get the levels right. Thats critical for the stream and and recording.
This virtually a straight recording for the live set. I didn't adjust the levels, but I did edit out one tiny drop out.
We hope you enjoy it.

Where In the Universe Is Charles Ives
It's been a while since I've posted any recordings. It takes a bit of work to mix a one hour performance. I'm going to try to keep up better because I'm feeling better lately. It's hard to know where to start because we have about a dozen programs on the disk.
This is last week's session. I named it: Where In The Universe Is Charles Ives. This one has a very wide dynamic range. This is counter to modern recording techniques, even for Twyndyllyngs. We'd be interested in your comments.
Hope you enjoy...

Last week we had to reschedule from Saturday to Sunday because Bill had a gig playing with the Allentown Municipal Band in Pennsylvania. I think I got the name right. Anyhow, we forgot to post an announcement of the postponement on the site. This resulted in the usual throng of loyal listeners, both real and imaginary, missed the show.
We had a good time playing anyway.
Hope you enjoy.

Were were off-the-air for a week to experience Covid 19. Now we're back. Tonight's show got off to a bad start with technical difficulties. After 20 minutes we were able to start. This is a short set, about 35 minutes for this reason.
This set is dedicated to the memory of Jeff Beck who passed away this week

Chez Mosc of 2023-01-14 Subject description: Commentary
Despite the late start due to technical difficulties, I think the set was marvelous. Of course, I may be biased!
On a different topic, listening to the recording, I couldn't help but notice the lack of background noise. Imagine two separate rigs separated by nearly 500 miles in two different states being so quiet! _________________ Bill Fox------------------|\-------------

Here's Twyndyllyings set from the recent 2023 March Equinox concert. I spent a bit of time remixing this but the effect of all that effort can hardly be noticed.
Anyhow , I think it was a great concert. We need to get more participants for the next one in June for the solstice.
Again, Bill and I were about 500 miles apart. As us humans are getting ready to move out to the Moon and Mars, playing music with delays will have to be a common skill among musicians. I urge more people to try this. If nothing else it will improve your ability to listen.
Thanks to Phobos and all the others who organized and participated in this concert event.

Twyndyllyngs' performance on Chez Mosc on April 29,1946, my 77th birthday.

Bill in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and I'm in Durham, North Carolina as usual
This in another very laid-back track but in the mixdown I added some binaural processing so this may sound a bit different. Don't listen to this while driving a car as the binaural processing can induce a meditative effect in your brain. This may be good for sleeping.
Headphones recommended

Last Saturday, May 20, 2023 Twyndyllyngs performed another live set. This one sounds a bit different. This recording was made at the time of the live stream. Clicks and pops were edited out as much as possible and some volume adjustments were made too.
We hope you enjoy
