Trance conductance is the tale of a civilization who's home world is destroyed in a cataclysmic event,
leaving a small portion of the members of said civilization stranded in space orbiting a dead planet. As time goes on, they journey outward and encounter various difficulties, eventually coming into conflict with a
pirate fleet. They battle the pirate fleet and survive destroying it in the process, however they are extremely damaged in afterwards.
The lone surviving ship of the pirate fleet tells them of the Wizard of Doubt, a legendary technomancer(a being of such technological knowledge, it has essentially become a deity), whom myth claims has the ability to alter time itself, thus casting the nature of reality itself into doubt.
They seek out this wizard of doubt in hopes that it can undo the destruction of they're home-world.
They eventually find it after a mysterious navigation error afflicts they're entire fleet, casting them far from the galactic edge, oddly near enough to detect the characteristic radiation emitted by the Wizard of Doubt, as told in the myth. They communicate with the
wizard of doubt, and explain they're wish to it, and it explains to them that it can be done, but in doing so they're life energies will be
consumed. While they're home world will be saved, it will be as if they never existed, leaving nothing behind of them but an etheric transmission in the background radiation of the universe.
They begin the ritual of Trance Conductance, and a great field of energy and radiation emerges from the Wizard of Doubt amidst a roaring so loud it drowns out all sense transmitting its vibrations through space itself in an explosion of colors and discontinuity, and then it is done. They're civilization is saved, but the memory of the ones who saved it are forever lost, only to be detected as a mysterious and mournful series of wave-forms embedded within the galactic background noise, seemingly originating from the beginning of the universe. Thus ending the eons of wandering, and they're very existence in a final sacrifice.

Wizard of Doubt was interesting, but the overall mix could do with some work -- the drums were very prominent, and everything else was quite retiring. Trance Conductance could also do with something -- I like the thin lead, though
