rediculously simple arp odyssey style ringmod Subject description: consists of five parts and works super-fine
this is just a rectifier but it works fine. you'll need dc-coupled signals.
works best with square waves.
No need for the waste of a quad nand chip anymore
works also with other waveforms, but they must be dc-coupled.

LOOOOL ... it really just needs those two diodes.
But it performs like a ringmod ... what's the difference between
xor and or gate? for me it sounds pretty much like
the odyssey ringmod and it also works with analog waveforms.
Let's call it pseudo ringmod but it does amazing things with the input signals _________________ Is the future obsolete?
Oh yeah, wow, that was enlightening. Thank you, Sir.
There is much more going on with the transistor in the circuit.
I did a bit of simulator testing with the or gate and found
out something interesting going on when pulling the
other two diodes to v+ and mixing both outputs together.
There are lots of fun to be had with "random" gate pattern
generators and stuff now.
If you change the waveform and have triangle in one
input and squarewave in the other input, the output waveforms look
like skylines.
All those weird LFO-mutations that could be created with diode gates ...
from just two square/triangle lfo generators, which are done
in no time with a 40106 and a buffer _________________ Is the future obsolete?
