Being cast asunder by mp3.com has led me to iuma.com. I have looked at their site before, in passing, but never bothered setting up an account or anything. Does anyone have an opinion of these guys? I've already signed up, after a brief period of hesitation regarding this "VitaminC" deal, finally saying what the heck. I'm just wondering if anyone here has any words of warning or anything for Mr. Paranoid. Thanks.

iuma.com?

Perhaps we should try to compile a list of various mp3.com alternatives?

I am trying to understand the psychology of this.. people want a free site to put up their music, and they want virtual charts.. like at mp3.com?

The activity witnessed at for instance funender.com seems to indicate that charts make people competitive. No misunderstanding, I think funender is cute, but I had really no idea about the scope of the "rate me - vote for me" popular movement until quite recently.
