This forum is dedicated to the late William Hoskins. Fill free to post any personal memories and stories. Post pics, documents, music, and recordings, if you have any.

Bill was my composition teacher when I attended Jacksonville University from 1967 through 1970. He was a personal friend of Bob Moog. Hoskin's purchased an early Moog Modular synthesizer for Jacksonville University in 1967. As far as I know, JU was the first university to offer music students the opportunity to learn electronic music composition with this equipment.

Several other electro-musicians were Hoskins' students, including Bachus and Jack Tamul. He was an superb teacher, the best I've ever had. Bill became a life-long friend to all of us, and his memory inspires us to this day.

I hope this forum develops into a rich resource so that William Hoskins can inspire more of us in the future.
