So I bought a Centennial 2MB SRAM Recharge PC Card and in less than a year it seems like it won't hold a charge... the Andromeda has to re-initialize it each time I power up, wiping the memory.

Before I go and buy another card, is there a way to rescue this one? I've left the card in with the Andy on overnight to try and charge the batteries full but that didn't work.

Is there a proper way to use these cards? I just leave it in the Andy all the time, where it gets powered up for a couple hours 2-3 times a week.

On edit... perhaps the Andromeda doesn't have the ability to charge these cards?

Some memory cards have non-rechargeable batteries.
And even if the battery is rechargeable it could have just died.
You should take the memory card apart and replace the battery.

Unfortunately the card is sealed shut. There's no way to open it up and replace the battery.

You should have a good look and make sure.
The top and bottom sides of my card were glued on, after taking apart the card I put it back together with double-sided tape.
