Close Midi device

[ahmetkizilay]

Hello,
I am having trouble closing ChucK while I use M-Audio Trigger Finger. (I know trigger finger has significant driver problems on windows.)
Simply, when I kill the session, cleaning up message lingers until I unplug the device. I cannot end process on the task manager either. So I thought maybe I could try to close the midi connection right before the program ends similar to the MidiIn open() method. But I don't know what that function might be. I tried close(), end() but they don't exist.
Is there a function to close the midi connection? or is there anything else you can suggest?
