Some keys on the far right are squeaking action is a little Subject description: 6 keys on far right are different then othe keys |

at the far right the last G G# A A# B C key play differently then all my other keys.
GABC (white keys) have a rubbery squeaking sound to them. From visually inspecting it the keys look fine, they aren't touching one another. However the action on them is definitely different. It is also very annoying to hear this F'ing squeaking sound whenever i play these four keys
the G# and A# are a little harder to push down then any of the other sharps on the keyboard.
What do you guys suggest??? Anyone else had these problems????
At first I thought they just needed to be broken in so to speak, but now I'm a concerned. _________________ Emulator Forum www.eiiiforum.com |

| I have that same problem but only on the lowest white key and highest white key. I thought they were rubbing on the edge or something. I cant really hear it when I'm playing. Lemme know if you come up with anything. |

I have not tried. Again, I cant really hear them when I'm playing. When I have time I will check it out. Recently I have been so busy using the synth I couldn't spare the time to open it! |

i opened up my a6 found nothing wrong.
when i opened it up i forgot to take out one screw on the back and the frame bent a litlle but around that one screw above the main outs
i think it might be the case or something like that pressing those keys together.
once i had the top off i didn't notice the keys making that sound.
once i got it all put back together i couldn't find a correct amount/combination of screws to loosen on the right side to stop those couple keys from squeaking o well _________________ Emulator Forum www.eiiiforum.com |

rokuez, I hope you are enjoying your Andromeda as much as I am.
You do realize opening the Andromeda most likely will void your warranty, don't you?(I won't tell if you don't)
As far as the noisy key, I have one key, high C that makes the sound you describe, since I very rarely go that high, it's not a problem for me.
I would send an email to Alesis technical support, describe your problem and see what they suggest.
Good luck my friend
btw, I recommend to anyone opening up a synth to take pictures of each step along the way, that way you can refer to the pics when you reassemble.
As I remove the screws and set them aside, I try to line them up exactly as they are when I take them out. |
