okay, now i just want to draft my idea that has just popped up.
this, again, is started from quite a simple idea, but i see it can be implemented in many ways and may be able to lead to new synthesis technics that can be easily modeled.

i'm going back to Julius O Smith III's publications and re-read about the basic of digital waveguide synthesis.
and i kinda feel that maybe we can do synthesis from another point of view.

how about we look at each "Sound Particle" which can flow through nodes and maybe its characteristic can change or affects other things in the system?

i'll try to model this as soon as possible heheh.

it's gonna be a simulation-style synthesis.
this is my plan:

creating classes for objects that can be used to form a network of nodes,
particle classes for defining particles,
and a way to create signal output from the running system.
- - -

now i'm imagining many different kinds of sound it can produce.
maybe, i'll try some idea related to Granular Synthesis.
it'd be fun to incorporate dimensions of parameter into a particle.

maybe i'll start with particles with different speed, amplitude, maybe also pitch if we can filter each particle easily.

and how nodes can collect statistical data..
number of particles passes, energy, .. etc.

i believe there should be some system that's has the same basic as what i'm planning to do.
but does anyone know which one?
i just don't know how i should call it or if anybody has called it in some way, -_-"

Hi Kijjaz!

This sounds interesting. Would each node produce sounds, or would only the final node in a series produce a sound? It actually sounds a bit like a ChucK within a ChucK.

i'd like it to be flexible, the user can specify how to acquire information from any nodes.
i'm imagining i'd be designing some classes that can be extended by adding functions.
i have to plan a lot -_- hmm..
