Okay, now keep in mind that this is a VERY insignificant item, but I thought I'd throw it out there (and being insignificant or irrelevant has never stopped me before)...

When I go to Google or Gmail, I'm greeted with a login page and the cursor is automatically placed in the User Name box. So I just start typing, hit the Tab key to go to the Password box, type in my password, hit Enter and there you go. I was thinking it would be a nice little added feature if the E-M.com login page did the same thing (auto placed the cursor in the User Name box), because right now you have to take the mouse and click in the box to get the cursor placed, and then start typing... see, I told you it wasn't very significant. Still, I just thought it might be a nice touch. I have no idea if it's an easy thing to implement or not.

Okay, I'm at work, so I'm going to go back to sleep now.

It's small nuisance indeed, but it is so often and so it would be a good idea IMO as well, and there are some examples out there on the web to show how to do it right (there are some issues like what to do when the user already started typing, or started typing somewhere else) ... it requires java script to be on on the users computer to work .. BTW ... hmm, that's no sentence ... ah well.

Sounds good... but then again; you could simply not log out or have your browser remember the login/password? Perhaps the real issues is that some people don't want to take their hands off the keyboard at all?

I just log in, and tick the "log me in automatically each visit" tick box, then once I'm in I create a shortcut to the page. Using the shortcut means I don't have to log in at all.
Of course I have to log in again if the server is re-started. That happens maybe once or twice a fortnight.
