i really would like to use the external inputs ( v1-16, v15 or v16 inputs) more often then i do. however the thing that puts me of is the sheer audioquality of the inputs. the inputted sound gains( a lot) extra noise and sounds somewhat distorted too! specially compared to the rest of the sound of the a6 it's misarable. ( a bit like korg ms20 quality)

i already had the in/outboard chanced once , no change.

wonder what other user think of the quality of the inputs, if they use them frequently and or other tips to improve the quality.

It's likely that the same ICs are used on both the audio ins and the audio outs, except that you have to deal with the gain on the audio ins on your own.

i normally have a soundtracs mixer in between. give the input about 1/2 the volume of the average output. still same effect. not much difference when decreasing the input volume, except that it goes softer.
how are your experiences with the inputs , if i might ask.?
maybe i'm also a bit spoiled with the roland sh5 sitting above the a6 ( man that inputs makes sound just more beautiful, espec. acoustic guitars)
