CRAIG PADILLA - An Evening of Electronic Space Music

Recording artist Craig Padilla, a Redding, CA based musician, has been
composing and performing his electronic/space music throughout the
northstate
for over 16 years. His music is performed on synthesizers
and has been featured over the years on Public Radio Shows, "ECHOES," and
"MUSIC FROM THE HEARTS OF SPACE" (both nationally syndicated radio
programs);
and he's composed soundtracks for various television, theatrical, and film
productions. His music is released in stores worldwide on three music
labels,
Spotted Peccary Music, Space For Music Records, and Ultimae Records, various
music compilations, and "Sequences," a magazine & CD dedicated to electronic
music (Padilla is featured on the front cover of issues 24 & 26). He has
also
self-released numerous compact discs. (Music listeners with internet access
can freely listen to music from his other compact discs on Craig's internet
music webpage at http://www.mp3.com/craigpadilla .)

Longtime collaborator Skip Murphy has been building his own synthesizers,
and
performing with Padilla for many years. His unique wall of sound is an
awesome addition to the music he creates with Padilla!

Padilla and Murphy will be recording TWO live CDs during the shows. Each
night will feature a unique set of improvised and rehearsed electronic/space
music.

Padilla's CD "VOSTOK" entered the New Age Voice TOP 100 Airplay charts in
April, 2002 at number 13! His latest Spotted Peccary Music release
"GENESIS"
will be available this Summer.

Space For Music Records will also be releasing a new live CD this year by
Padilla and Murphy titled "PLANETARY ELEMENTS." This CD was also recorded
live at the Schreder Planetarium.

Don't miss what has been described as "a rare experience" and "a feast for
all
the senses."

"Craig Padilla is one of America's premiere electronic musicians."
-Phil Derby, magazine reviewer

"Rhythmic and ambient...European influences."
-Michael Garrison, composer/recording artist, Windspell Music

"...Ethereal and meditative keyboard work."
"Padilla's heavily synthesized music...is unique."
-Jon Lewis, Record Searchlight newspaper

"Serious New Age instrumentals entrance the listener with slow-moving
synths,
swirling melodies, and precise percussion. Polished meditative tracks for
the
cosmically-in-tune." - LISTEN.COM
